    Tequila Escape opens at 845 Canal St, replacing former Dinosaur Bar-B-Que space

    Tequila Escape, a Latin fusion restaurant with an existing Ridgefield, CT location, officially opened a new Stamford location at 845 Canal St in the Harbor Point neighborhood in May 2023. The space had previously been occupied by Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, which closed in 2020. This is an entirely different restaurant concept (Latin fusion/Mexican) from what previously operated at the address.

    Why this matters: Any Google/Yelp reviews at this address dated 2020 or earlier refer to Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, a completely different restaurant and cuisine, not the current Tequila Escape.
