   Noches de Colombia opens in former Aguapanelas space

   Colombian restaurant chain Noches de Colombia (with existing locations in New Jersey and New York) announced plans to open at 84 W Park Place in downtown Stamford, in the space formerly occupied by Aguapanelas, a Latin restaurant that had closed the prior year. As of the September 2019 announcement the restaurant was in a 'coming soon' stage with banners up; an exact opening date was not found.

   Why this matters: This location previously operated as Aguapanelas, a different Latin restaurant; any reviews from before roughly 2019-2020 likely describe that earlier restaurant rather than Noches de Colombia.
