    Masa Taco Bar opened in the former Tomatillo Taco Joint space

    Masa Taco Bar, co-owned by Robert Monegro and his fiancee Erika Arias (who also run Chicho's Cocina), opened at 114 Broad St. in a completely renovated space formerly occupied by Tomatillo Taco Joint, with an official grand opening around August 15, 2024. It features a Mexico City-style menu distinct from its predecessor.

    Why this matters: This is a different restaurant, under different ownership and with a different menu, than Tomatillo Taco Joint, which previously occupied this address.
