    Blackstones Steakhouse took over the former Del Frisco's Grille space

    Del Frisco's Grille at 101 Broad St in downtown Stamford closed in June 2018 after nearly three years in business. Blackstones Steakhouse, owned by restaurateur Eddy Ahmetaj (who also operates Blackstones locations in Norwalk, Greenwich, and Fairfield), took over the roughly 8,000-square-foot space and opened on October 17, 2018.

    Why this matters: Reviews of 101 Broad St from before October 2018 describe Del Frisco's Grille, a completely different steakhouse chain with different ownership, not the current Blackstones Steakhouse.
